My POV of Alex driving in a car: “Driving 50 mph, 50 metres behind the car in front, braking for a whole minute until a standstill” His car: “I’m not 80, 000 pounds I’ll have you know. LOL if only everyone drove like this….. (Also GREAT truck! 👍)

Your vids crack me up. My 23 year old son is a OTR driver. I'm 45 and just got my CDL a week ago. Hanging up the welding whip after 13 years. One more week of work and night school, I hit the road. Great vids!

I have always had great respect for truckers and always try to make sure they get their way on the road but you have given me a whole new perspective. Your videos are so relaxing. I love them!

I used to work at the Springfield Ohio US Express terminal. I cleaned it as a subcontractor. Cool seeing you there

Alex, I just subscribed. I’m an old truck insurance guy and used to own a 50 unit dry van operation servicing distribution centers for Walmart. Since you are 23, I’m guessing that you went through a CDL school and US’s driver finishing program. Your camera system is your best friend as it will exonerate you 3 out of 4 times. If your truck even makes contact with a 4 wheeler, regardless of fault, your employer will likely have plaintiff attorney involvement and often a law suit. You seem like a very professional driver that knows how to manage his time and do it correctly. There is an acute shortage of good qualified drivers and even fewer with a good work ethic. I wish you the best and look forward to your YouTube’s.

We had similar problem with our Internationals. Turns out where ever the trucks were assembled, be it Canada or Mexico, they ran the power supply lines to the trailer behind the sleeper wall at a point where the sleeper seams were rubbing the wires to the copper where they were grounding out to the body of the truck. Found the problem when you could take a light tester or ohms meter to the body while all lights were on on got a electric charge out of it. Had to tear the back of the sleeper to repair by rerouting a new wire harness away from the seam. Took a long time to research and repair.

I learned being a company driver not to get emotional attached to equipment you may have to get out of a truck at the drop of a hat

Alex take the fright liner. It’s a very good truck. The first one you had after the red Kenworth was a freight liner. I know you love Kenworth but try fright liner. Maybe you’ll warm up to it

For most dealers you cannot sleep in truck on yard overnight due to insurance reasons.
However dispatch has gps tracking on the Qualcomm they can tell u exact coordinates if u ask.
Plus they should be able to book a hotel for you overnight wen swapping trucks

The guy seems highly intelligent, and a very careful driver. I suggest placing his cam on his dash board for a better view of the highway.
