Trump doesn't have to apologize because he didn't say those things.

It's not just the Puerto Rico comment. Many of the other speakers spewed racist and sexist comments as well. Let's not forget about them. They all are just as bad if not worse.

Fake media outrage. Notice how the title says "comment" instead of joke by a comedian.

As an African-Native American, I know that so-called comedian's (Madison Square Garden) performance was designed to be inflammatory in content. To frame what he said as "jokes", is giving racists a pass.

Since 1899, Puerto Ricans have served in the U.S. military in significant numbers, with over 200, 000 Puerto Ricans participating across major conflicts including WWI, WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and recent engagements in the Middle East. Puerto Rico, with a population of about 3.2 million (fluctuating over time), has had higher enlistment rates per capita than many states.

Comparing Puerto Rico to other U.S. regions of similar population size, such as certain states or cities, it’s notable that Puerto Ricans have shown a high level of commitment. For example:

WWII: Approximately 65, 000 Puerto Ricans served in the U.S. Army, one of the highest per capita rates among U.S. territories and states at the time.
Korean War: The 65th Infantry Regiment from Puerto Rico became renowned for its bravery, particularly during the Battle of Chosin Reservoir.
Vietnam War: More than 48, 000 Puerto Ricans served, and their casualty rate was notably high.
Post-9/11 conflicts: Thousands of Puerto Ricans have continued to serve, with contributions across all branches.
Compared to other areas with populations in the 3 million range (like Mississippi or Connecticut), Puerto Rican enlistment rates remain high, demonstrating a distinct cultural connection to military service despite limited voting rights in U.S. federal elections.
