As a Greek, it's a shame that an English politician realized this before ours.

@Seventh7Art But Greece failed every test for being admitted to the Euro yet still the Eurocrats let her join.So it is not just the Greek government which is to blame

Nigel hit the nail on the head on that occasion as is usually the case for Nigel.

We were the same in the UK, as we relied to much on our past, and the trouble is, when people keep telling you that they are better than you, in both industry and agriculture etc it tends to make you doubt confidence in what you can achieve. Greece has had a few set backs over recent years of course she has, but don’t let that put you down because you could once again be a great nation. All it needs is faith in yourselves so go for it

I hope Americans are watching this. Our democracy has been taken over by international corporations. The will of the people no longer determines our future. Please join your nearest occupy site and send a message that we will not give up our freedom and soverngty so easily. Occupy is peaceful now but if the government continues the violence against peaceful protesters, I fear they will not remain so for long. Without your voice, peaceful protest in America could turn into violent riots. Peace!

Notice that, that French guy (possibly, French, anyway), at the conclusion, of this video 'clip', refered to Mr Nigel Farage, deliberately wrongly as though he couldn't pronounce his name! - He's 'fooling', no-one! He did that purposely, thereby, thus making a slanderous remark to Mr Nigel Farage! He said a 'bad' word to him, by 'playing' on his name as the French word 'faràge, is, not, the same as: Farage!

Well well, Greece's GDP grew by 5.9% in 2022 much better than Brexitland.

The problem is that certain european leaders couldn't "fight back" to the speculators attack not to Greece or Ireland but to EURO itself... and now are just trying to find escape goats in Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Spain and in the future maybe Italy to justify themselves to their voters.
