Trump's Campaign Boss Scrutinized For Domestic Violence Charges

Donald Trump's chief executive of his campaign, Stephen Bannon has come under fire for his rather checkered history of domestic violence charges. Bannon was arrested in 1996 for a domestic violence in a case that was eventually dropped. Public records in Santa Monica show that three misdemeanor charges were brought against Bannon's wife of the time. She claimed that Bannon tried to pull her into his car by the wrist and over his car door, physically hurting her. According to the documents, she said that Bannon also grabbed her neck but she was able to break free of his grip after striking his face. Prosecutors tried to make the charges stick but Bannon's wife disappeared from public and never testified against him after making the original complaint.
