EDIT: If anyone is having trouble with this video playing in another language (a new YouTube feature that seems to be off to an iffy start), this is how you can fix it -

Thank you so much to those of you who sent me screen recordings and helped to find a solution to the problem 💚

I do have the variegated jade plant crassula ovata variegated. First, the leaves, without stems produce mostly fully green plants. I did try this myself. Using 10 leaves. I set them outside in summer. The new plants emerged within a few weeks and grew into sizeable plants at the end of the outdoor season. Out of the 10, only 2 are variegated. My jade plant is beautiful at this time. It's not just variegated; it's also edged with orange and red colors. It's also having flower bugs at this time.

Hi Claire! I recently started watching your videos. I love your content. You plant collection is beautiful. I moved from the UK to CA, USA, few years back. We are originally from Southern India. I see you like cuban oregano. It is a common plant in home gardens in South India. It is very good for managing allergies and common cold. I grew up eating the leaves straight from the plant, in teas, herbal broths and salads. You can read about it.
In North India, it is called ajwain plant as it smells like carom seeds (may be same family). We call it omavalli/karpuravalli in Tamil (translates to carom plant/camphor plant). I grew it near a southwest patio door when I lived in Nottingham. Here I grow it outside in pots and protect it from winter rain. In winter we gets highs of upto 18 c and lows upto -2 c on some days (2 to 4 c most days). I grow it in free draining succulent mix. When it gets leggy, yoy can chop and propagate by just sticking it in soil. You should also try plectranthus tometosa (vicks plant) if you can find it. It has a slightly different fragrance and smaller leaves. I noticed that this plant is more rain and cold tolerant as I left it out in rain my first winter here and it still survived.
I love cane begonias. I got the bug here like you with Sinbad. I had them growing inside with supplemental grow lights. I have 8 different ones and I was running out of space and I put them out in deck this spring. They grew so well. I have to protect them from summer sun and winter rain. They have some cold damage on leaves now but not dying. I am confident that they will perk back in spring. I was planning to move them into garage but I did not. You have some cool ones in your collection.
I see you got an Episcia. They are beautiful plants. I have my plants growing under growlights in my bedroom and they don't get any direct sun. The patio door faces north. They like a lot of light but no direct sun. I have burnt some of mine to death in my living room. Thr summer sun is very hot here. I moved them to my bedroom. They grow really well in hanging baskets. They are very easy to propagate in water. Many are easy to grow but some can be finicky and need higher humidity (pink leaf ones mostly). They like to be evenly moist.
Happy growing.

Quite happy for that Colius Amboinicus Variegata, because she's living a life of luxury in the green house cabinet. While her sisters are living in my yard in Kerala more like weeds that I have to keep on pruning away 😅

You're right, it's an alocasia ninja. The black velvet has a more purple back, while the ninja is all green. Love your videos!

Hi Claire, wondering any difference to grow plants indoor in enclosed cabinets or open shelves? Any advice… thanks!💚❤️
