Inside Google’s Insane Headquarters

Inside Google’s Insane Headquarters.
Corporate life is often defined as grey and painfully dull, but a few people get to escape from the typical, monotonous working life; we are talking about the few lucky people who get to work at the Googleplex, the home of Google. If you are interested in knowing what happens inside the company, stay tuned because we will take a deep dive into the massive Google headquarters in today's video.
The headquarters is a short walk away from the San Francisco Bay area and a few steps from other multinational headquarters like Apple city and the homes of Facebook, eBay, and Netflix. The Google headquarters forms its name from a play on words. Most apparently, it is a combination of Google & Complex. The name of the place and its nature are somewhat similar. It is not just a mixture of Google and Complex. Still, it is instead a mathematical term representing ten raised to the power of 100 digits, one of the biggest numbers to be used in general maths and expressing the positive excess vibrated in the campus. The land was purchased from Silicon Graphics, the very own creators of Jurassic Park's famous dinosaurs, and that could be probably why a dinosaur looks over the complex.
One of the most important things that were carried over from the Silicon Graphics campus and improved upon by Google's people was the emphasis on creating a fusion of interior and exterior as much as possible. As a result, the outer lawns and many walkways are all incorporated as much as possible into the interior spaces like the conference room and public working spaces. One of the ways to achieve this is through the use of glass walls mixed with a design philosophy that emphasizes the use of large open spaces instead of separate rooms and generally has relatively high ceilings. The site alone cost the firm about 1 billion dollars, and this was around the year of acquiring the New York Chelsea market, which cost around 2.4 billion dollars.
Facilities in Google Headquarters:
Google didn’t move into buildings owned by previous tenants; the multinational took matters into its own hands and appointed South African architect Clive Wilkinson. It was mentioned that teamwork and creativity topped Wilkinson’s charts. While designing the massive Google headquarters, both firms joined hands to create a firm that was not only set up to increase the productivity but also to boost employee satisfaction, this is evident through the fun lava lamps and a giant screen showing live Google search terms from around the world, and many of the lobbies have pianos for the many of the talented artists working there.
