In this video, you will learn all about How Do We See Things?
We see things when our eyes receive light from them. Objects like the sun, lamp and candle produce light. Such objects are called luminous objects. When the light from luminous objects reaches our eyes, we are able to see things around us.
All objects, however, do not produce light. Objects such as a book, watch, pen, pencil and table that do not produce light are called non-luminous objects. How are we able to see them? Light from a luminous object falls on these objects and then bounces back into our eyes. When we receive the bounced back light (called the reflected light) from these non-luminous objects, we are able to see them.
