The MAM Journals- 12000 miles on our Suzuki GSX-S1000 GT. Hit or Miss?

We bought our GSX-S1000 GT in May 2022. One of two bikes we use for touring , how have we got on with the bike? Has it proved reliable ? Has it coped with being ridden in biblical rain and on salted roads? Has it been expensive to maintain? Has it been FUN?

Another superb video Michael and obviously looking from afar your bike looks in fabulous nick and a testament to how you look after it and its build quality. I've never been able to get my wife to come on the back of any bike I've owned so tourers haven't been on my radar but yours looks an excellent choice.

Great review and summary. Thanks for the financials. It's a bike I'm very keen on but feel it's role is as you use it not scratching round South Oxfordshire. Local dealers each have a second hand one. Very tempting.

I have a black GT that I bought in August of last year and just put it away at 12k km for the winter. I really like it and am looking forward to next season. For me, the best thing about it is the quickshifter!

I have a 2019 Honda VFR800X Crossrunner for almost 6 years now, 50.000km. It's been awesome. But the only one bike I keep looking at since 2022 is this Suzuki GSXS1000GT. Surely my next bike if my Crossrunner fails (but it's a Honda :D). Awesome video as always. Cheers from Belgium!
