World AIDS Day 2022: WHO calls for leaders to equalize access to essential HIV services

On 1 December, the World Health Organization joins partners to commemorate World AIDS Day 2022, under the theme “Equalize”. WHO's Director-General, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, calls for global solidarity and bold leadership, so that everyone receives the care they need. Through its AIDS Day campaign WHO is calling on global leaders and citizens to boldly recognize and address the inequalities which are holding back progress in ending AIDS; and equalize access to essential HIV services.
