Computer-aided mixed-reality presentation system for Haslerhaus GmbH. & Co KG made by FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences in a cooperation between the course of studies "Media and Interaction Design" (MID) und "Architecture" (ARC).

This system has been realised with the aid of Unity in a MRI framework by Kommerz. Currently the system has two essential components: (A) a virtual construction kit for sampling and (B) a real-time simulation interface with a virtual 3D walk-through and integrated sunlight simulation. Comparable developments with Collaborative Virtual Environments (CVEs) are presented by Ponto, Doerr, Wypych, Kooker and Kuester (2011), Künz, Dontschewa and Weber (2007), Tizani (2011), Peña-Mora, Golparvar-Fard, Aziz and Roh (2011), Yabuki (2011), Yi-Luen Do (2011) and not least, Ren and Tang (2011). The focus of this paper is how far the conventional design process can be enhanced by interactive computer-based tools. The CG Architectural Mixed Reality Workspace referred to herein simplifies the design process by an evolutionary, iterative approach, combined with a user-friendly intuitive interface.
