Zoe Ball is set to step down as a presenter of her BBC Radio 2 breakfast show after six years. The broadcaster, 53, took over the breakfast show from Chris Evans in 2019.

She told listeners it has been a privilege to share her mornings with them as she announced on Tuesday morning that she will be leaving the show in December.

She’s been very lucky to hold such a prestigious position. Let’s be honest she’s not great. Wish her all the best. Replacing her with Scott Mills is another numpty decision. He’s a shocker

£1.36 million pa for a 3 hour a day job...and a huge amount of time off. And a horrible gushing presentation style too. Now a multi millionaire on the back of the licence fee which is illegal not to pay. A disgrace.
