Nike Magista Play Test and First Impression

We went to the launch event of the brand new Nike Magista with Andres Iniesta and got to try out and test the new Magista boots aswell. In this video Joltter gives his first impression of the boot, how does it feel and what's it like to play with the Nike Magista.

From first wear, Magista is a boot like no other. Thank you Nike for changing the game, I love change.

For the people who say this shoe is weak an is not durable, you must have a pair of fly knits to truly understand. The material is extremely durable and strong. Nike has had fly knit shoes for years and there has never been any case of "ripping" or "tearing "

I'd guess that after a few months these'll be destroyed. Imagine the sock getting muddy and soaking wet! I wouldn't be surprised if it ripped either! Sorry for being negative, I'm just disappointed the nike would discontinue one of the most reliable, consistent boots in the market, the CTR, and then give us this. 300 bucks? Wow. I just feel like Nike are starting to merge all their silos. 3 thin, light synthetic uppers, 1 thin, light leather upper. Oh, and did I mention that Nike's only true heritage boot, the premier, is also thin and light? What I used to love about Nike was the variation they offered. You had the heavy, stable, solid t90, the light, bright, progressive Mercurial, the plush, classy, conservative Tiempo, balanced with the innovation of the CTR. There's a boot for everyone. Nowadays...the same couldn't be said!

Unisport! I'd like to thank you for your vids on both the Magista Obra and the Mercurial Superfly! I was in great conflict of which of the two shoes to choose, but thanks to your reviews I went with the Magista's! I've been wearing the Magista Obra's now for three games, one of which was in rainy conditions and they've held up pretty nicely! The dirt comes off quite easily and does not leave big marks on the upper. Worth to mention is that I have the Black/Hyper Punch colour way, but even on the Orange/Yellow part of the upper the mud does not leave any marks. And living in the Netherlands, shitty weather is imminent, so I'll update this comment in a few weeks when I have had a really rainy game!

If you were able to go to the launch then you clearly had to give it a good but believable review
