My favorite part about Trapt. Is that Chris does indeed live by the song that made them famous. Staying up all hours of the night just to argue with anyone and everyone who @s him on twitter.

Is it weird that I remember this song and yet still had never heard of Trapt til now?

I saw Trapt at the Radioroom in SC a few years ago (not on purpose - they just happened to be playing there). They played Headstrong and got a good response from the crowd, though it was very apparent they were drunk and (to my ear) it sounded like very sloppy playing on their part. Then they played a few of their other songs and people started to get unhappy because… well, they just didn’t sound very good. So people started leaving and a few of the drunker people started heckling and demanding they play Headstrong again. Long story short Trapt got super mad and threatened to beat up everyone in the bar before ragequitting and stormed off yelling and screaming at everyone using derogatory slurs. Apparently they were being pretty unpleasant to everyone before they started playing so I would not doubt if that was the real reason they were getting heckled, though again, they simply did not sound good even if you were into nu metal imo. I get the impression that this was not the first or last time they had this kind of night with the way they handled themselves. Beyond everything they just didn’t seem to really want to play music and we’re more interested in their own egos and getting as drunk as humanly possibly. They became a bit of an in joke at the bar for a few months afterwards and I still get messages from friends in the area every so often meming on Trapt. They truly are a band of all time

Honestly I can’t stand when musicians and bands have conflict because there so sold on there opinion it’s not about the amount of albums you sell or the money it’s about the music and there is no right or wrong way to do it
