Do you remember these wagons? Pepperidge farm remembers… a very under appreciated car from the mid 2000s.

I bought a 2005 with 101k miles on it for $3, 450 a few months back, the more time passes and the more I learn about it the happier I am with the purchase.

That Mazda is clean, always loved that generation of the 6, and the wagons were slick.

Have a 2005 V6 I bought in 2010 and love it! I still sometimes look back at it after parking. Powertrain is bulletproof, and the only repair I ever had to do was the A/C, which only cost $100. I’m gonna lose it to rust eventually, and am so sad I have no options for another wagon anymore.

I got a Mazda 6 Sedan, from 2007.
I'm in love with it, it's my first car, bought it with my own money.
It was love for the first sight.

I bought a 2004 Mazda 6 v6 5 speed after I totalled my 2013 Honda Accord v6. Absolutely love the Mazda. Honestly just as much as the Accord with all the functionality it had.

I always liked the styling on this era of Mazda 6, both sedan and wagon

I drive a 2004 Mazda 6s Wagon. Fantastic car.

I still see them on the road, although not as many as there used to be. A lot of these wagons & notably the sedans, had severe rust issues in the back & quarters.

I'd rather have a wagon over an SUV/crossover.

Rode in one of these for some of middle school carpool. V6 wagon, with a manual! Very cool car.

Got one, that exact year and color, that I just rebuilt as a backup daily. Fun car. Pain to work on, but fun to drive.

I love my 2006 Mazda 6 Wagon! 104, 000 miles, bought from a Mazda dealer where it apparently was used as a run around / loaner. It's been relatively trouble free. I changed plugs / coils / gaskets at 72, 000, shocks & struts. Only real issues have been front hubs and A/C repairs. Swallows a bunch of mulch in the back and my bikes lay down flat with the rear seats down.

In Australia we were fortunate enough to never stop getting the wagon. I have a 10 year old second generation Mazda 6 wagon in the driveway, that is now my sons car and I've got a 2020 third generation wagon for myself and the wife. Great cars and incredibly versatile for their size. Shame that example you showed is missing the luggage privacy blind and cargo net. I imagine they would be quite hard to find over there now, but they are a very clever design that started with that generation and carried forward to today. We never got the V6 as our cars came straight from Japan. We did get the turbo four in that first generation as the MPS (your Mazdaspeed 6) and you get the option of a turbo 2.5 four cylinder in the current cars, including the wagon. Anyway, that will make a great car for someone.

Love these Mazda wagons. Not made for very long either maybe just a couple of years actually. Haven't seen one in a year I would say. I would love one but hard to find especially with no rust. Great video Jay!👍👍

That's especially rare with the fully loaded trim. But the mazda 6 that looks like the sedan but it's a hatchback is way more interesting tho. You can tell the difference by the massive rear wiper.

Wagon man myself brother. Had a few of them back in the day. One of them was a 64 Buick special with a 310 wildcat under the hood. And as you know you can do much more with the wagons. 👍✌️

I am a fan of these, 2004 Mazda 6 station wagons, because they have the 3 L Duratec V6 engine and the five-speed automatic transmission. These vehicles are very reliable and they are slightly fuel-efficient. They will last for a long time than these newer Subaru Outback's with the 2.5 L flat-four engine and the CVT transmission. Just make sure that the vehicle is well maintained, in order it to last.
