With the global coronavirus death toll exceeding 100,000, the World Health Organization warns that lifting lockdown measures too early could lead to even deadlier outcomes. Turkey announced a 48-hour curfew for its major cities, becoming the latest country to enact such measures. Holly Williams reports on how Turkish residents prepared themselves for the lockdown that would leave only pharmacies, bakeries and essential services such as hospitals open.

Each weekday morning, "CBS This Morning" co-hosts Gayle King, Anthony Mason and Tony Dokoupil deliver two hours of original reporting, breaking news and top-level newsmaker interviews in an engaging and informative format that challenges the norm in network morning news programs. The broadcast has earned a prestigious Peabody Award, a Polk Award, four News & Documentary Emmys, three Daytime Emmys and the 2017 Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast. The broadcast was also honored with an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award as part of CBS News division-wide coverage of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. Who ever came up with this strategy is a genius. 2 days should solve all the corona virus pandemic. Why no one thought about it before.

Turkey Government sent SOS to South Korea to ship test kits and PPP and Turkey Government sent a military cargo airplane to pick them up from South Korea. It will start to perform testing massively.

Apparently 130 countries sent SOS to get a help for medical equipment from South Korea now. South Korea is helping all over the world now.

No country that didn't lock down has suffered more losses than those that did proportionally.

They'd better leave the schools out of it. Wait a long period of time before bringing the children back out.

hi i want to say something, curfew was weekend. usually people waiting to buy food for the weekend in Turkey. so when the meals are over there is a busy crowd to get a snack for two days. The only reason for this confusion was the sudden decision of the government. :))
