Paint CHROME! - Airbrush Tutorial Part 2 of 2

Part 2! Within this full airbrush painting tutorial, I'm going to show you the techniques that I use to paint a chrome or stainless steel effect. A lot of it has to do with adding a high contrast of values within the painting with little to no blending within certain areas. For this demo, I'll be painting a teapot/kettle against a black background. I will also go over the differences in rendering something highly reflective (like chrome) with something more subtle (like skin textures in portraits). I am painting this one with acrylic paint sprayed through an airbrush. The entire painting is completed in a single color (black), and the highlights are achieved by removing paint. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for everything you are sharing. I was wondering if you could show how to paint calm lake reflections.
