MY DIY Koi pond has a DIY filter. I demonstrate the water quality of the koi pond and show how the pond filter keeps the water in perfect condition all year round.

I walk you through the use of an API master test kit so you can see how to test your water also.

Ammonia, Nitrite, phosphate and PH are all tested and are exactly where I want them.

The wetland filter needs nitrate and ammonia to survive. The plants suck those nutrients up through their routes and thrive. This is why it works so well, it compliments the course filter which helps to colonise friendly bacteria. Think of it as a double filtration process and it looks wonderful. No ugly boxes here.
