The acting was masterful especially by Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo who stood out in this ensemble. They're just an iconic duo. Their dramatic acting and comedic timing is heartbreaking and delightful.
Movie is masterpiece. This story is told in a very unique style. As they visit real places in the world, it's done in an incredibly artistic and surreal way.

Emma Stone might just win an Oscar for this. I love that she paired up with Yorgos Lanthimos again. He's such a fascinating director and his movies are nuts in the best way.

Given how bonkers The Lobster was, this mashup of Terry Gilliam and Wes Anderson with a dash of body horror should be on a whole other level! 😅

To anyone who hasn't seen it, you will either wish you had your 2hours 21mins back or you will be totally engrossed in the amazing performances and the completely bonkers story. However in saying that, it has a story I've never seen and there is some seriously twisted humour, intense debauchery and a rather complex story that you will either get earlier on or when it is explained in detail with diagrams. I stuck with it because I was captivated by the "journey " and growth of the main character. FYI its not black and white all the way through it turns to colour after a little while.
