Hot damn. My preference is definitely pointy guitars (Vs, Explorers, ML, Xiphos etc.) with floyds and all metaltastic like but that right right there is one beauty of a guitar.

@jamesxme you've guessed quite right. The word "Denim" comes from the colour of the fabric imported to make the first blue-jeans, which is " Bleu de Nîmes".

Bleu de Nime - Blue of Nime

Nime is a city in Southern France close to where they are built, so I'm guessing that's in reference to that.

@MrLosfuegos: no. Nimes is a city in France (lag guitars are made in france). It's not a denim jeans... "de" in french means "of" in english. So blue de nimes means Blue of Nimes. It's an expression.
(sorry about my english, i'm from switzerland and i speak french)
