Join me on an unforgettable thermal climb over Quixada, Brazil. It was on my route where I cover a distance of 404.8 kilometers – a new personal best for me! This exhilarating flight took me through captivating landscapes, including a breathtaking thermal lift above a field that had wildfire. Against all expectations, the thermal updraft remained surprisingly stable, despite the fiery conditions below. While this entire flight presented its challenges in terms of paraglider control in turbulence, riding this particular thermal column was an absolute delight. I ascended steadily and smoothly, with an expansive view of Quixada, the city and take odd I found myself above. This memorable moment occurred at approximately the 240-kilometer mark of my journey."
