Great, I did not know we can customize name of each element in an enum.

but sir pl explain one example when we have parent child relation into two table i want to show parent table data into dropdown when create update display in child model .example religion in one table, category store in one table and in student detail table we want to store student's categoryid and religionid into student table. during studentdetail form we can access category, religion from dropdown taghelper.

why in the case of enum the returned value is always the string in the text and not the integer in the value as the case with list of custom objects ?
