as a child, when my parents and I went somewhere on a car trip, it was always playing on the radio. I can't believe it's been 10 years already...

For me this will always be the soundtrack to the beginning of 2014. I was 20 years old and it marked a new beginning after my lonely, anxious teenage years. New friends, new experiences, new dreams, finally a girlfriend, that I was with for four years.

This song got played on the radio a lot in those months. It takes me back to being in the car with some of the friends I made then, driving at night, feeling excited about the future and in awe of where life was taking me. All in all, 2014-2016 was one of the happiest and most fulfilling periods of my life.

Now everything has gone to shit again, but at least I had those good times.
