In loving memory of our Oma, Femmy Slagter.

Mrs. Femmigje (Femmy) Slagter was called to her eternal home and into the presence of her Lord and Savior on February 21, 2022 at the age of 92.

Femmy was born in The Netherlands, in Klazienaveen, Drenthe, on November 12, 1929.

She was the eighth child of 11 children all of who had predeceased her as well as their spouses except one sister-in-law, Henny Veldman.

Femmy and her mother and siblings immigrated to Canada in 1952.

Femmy was the beloved wife of Harry Slagter who she married November 19, 1954.
He predeceased her November 24, 2009 after 55 years of marriage.

Femmy was the beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother of:

Femmy raised her family with the joy and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We will forever be grateful for her love and how she always pointed us to the promises found in the Infallible Word of God, The Bible.
Femmy was loved and honoured by her family and we will dearly miss her guiding and enriching presence.

We take comfort in knowing she is safe in her Savior’s presence.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.
The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.
Do you believe this? “
