This just literally happened in front of my house in Montgomery Alabama. I normally don’t get the notification from the cameras immediately, but this time it was. And the vehicle jumped the curb and hid in my driveway. As the dozen patrol cars passed by without noticing them. I called the police and to my surprise, they never answered the phone, after being hanged up three times I gave up. I am in another state and unable to be there I set my outside floodlights and sirens to alert the police, but nothing happened. After about a minute the driver drove off my driveway very inconspicuous and was on his merry way to perform another crime on another day. The next day I contacted the local police station and sent them the footage. I’m sure they felt that one. Apparently the storm they were experiencing had an effect on the telephone lines. I wasn’t the only one that had a problem connecting with them that night. I’ll be doing some lawn patching when I get back home.
