While this rig looks great, I do think this craze with massive aluminium profiles is a bit overhyped. A heavy profile 80x40mm extrusion is incredibly stiff, and will NOT flex. What is much more important is how these profiles are joined together, as that is where all the observed stiffness will come from. Even a 30+ Nm wheelbase is not going to flex an 80x40mm profile, but if that profile is fastened in a way that doesn't sufficiently support it then you will definately start getting some flex.

As an example, some rigs mount the uprights directly on top of the lower frame, instead of on the outside. This provides much less optimal fastening possiblities, relying entirely on friction from two 90 degree brackets, instead of the tension force of the bolts.

Literally just started putting together mine yesterday, my very first profile rig coming from an old gt omega art, I’m 8hours in and almost done, It’s so heavy and solid, I can’t wait to be completely done

Good company, and yes expensive. But it could be an end all chassis, and in fact could end up costing you LESS in the long run simply by you not buying umteen rigs before you get to this one. Most folks never factor in that little, but very real, fact. I personally spent well over $2000 on various setups already. If I knew I'd have to eventually pony up for something of this quality from the out, I'd have bit the bullet and done this first off, or at least secondly as I'd need something to use until I could save enough to buy it. This sometimes VERY expensive hobby of ours doesn't have to be overbearing if we just get the best we can get as close to the first time out instead of wasting thousands finally getting there. Great review as always Oscar, I look forward to you finally hitting that glorious 100K sub level, you deserve so much!

I've got the Trak Racer TR80 Lite rig with a GT Omega seat, and it's honestly a solid rig! I'm a little tight on space and this thing is perfect. Being able to slide the seat forward and back, as well as recline it, has been great for getting friends and family of different sizes on it and enjoy it. Not bad for the price of the TR80 Lite! Though if I can move into a bigger place, I would definitely look into this TR160!

Great review! Just a month ago I was looking into a new rig as well, but ended up with the NLR F-GT Elite 160. I think if I didn’t want formula seating and the ability to switch to GT, I would’ve gone with this one

Good review. I game in my room and it would be too large for me. I've settled for the Playseat® Trophy - Logitech G Edition and loving it.

Hey could you do a video about wheel stands? ( Something budget but more expensive aswell if you want)

I am thinking of upgrading my setup but I'm wondering if it's better to have a freestanding triple monitor stand rather than the one fixed to the frame for better adjustability for the distance between your seating position and the monitor. personally I prefer the monitors to be a little bit more closer or do you think it's more than enough from your point of view.
cool setup tho and the blue looks sick.

Hey OC Racing, Great video. But how about you review another budget wheel from PXN, it’s called the PXN V99, Its quieter and has more force feedback than the G29. The whole bundle costs around $180 and it includes the Wheel, Base, Pedals, and Shifter.

aye bro your reviews are always the best i was wondering if you got eyes on pxn v12 lite its direct drive with 6nm torque, can it compete with moza r5 on 500 price as its bundle comes with clutch aswell
