I followed Gavin Harrison with Porcupine Tree since he took Chris Maitland's place and then followed him to the Pineapple Thief. Saw them live in Orlando this past April. They were PHENOMENAL

Awesome playing by Gavin aside, I've never heard someone's kit sound better in live recordings. His recording knowledge and mic'ing up a kit I think are extremely underrated.

Gavin Harrison has raised the profile of this band. However good he is, he cannot save them from being ordinary.

Why do I expect so much more out of this band and am always disappointed? Perhaps I expect that any band Gavin would join should be as good as Porcupine Tree.

Sorry but that guitar solo in the middle sucked. I wish Darran Charles was still around with Pineapple Thief.
