You should please check out Stoney Creek Woman and Judgement in Stoney Creek, author is Bridget Moran. Both based on true events . They happened on the rez I grew up in.

One of my favorite authors that writes about Native American monster lore is Joseph Bruchac. My students love them also!

You should check out some Richard Wagamese! He's my favorite native author though technically he is part of the Canada's First Nations and not the US indigenous population.

Joseph Bruchac is my favorite Native American author, he has a lot of books from kids to ya. He may even have adult books but I’m not sure
