Thank you, Tim. Your comments are spot on. The essence of being a Christian is drawing close to fellow believers in a state of unity where we bear one another's burdens and lift them up spiritually.

Great video, Tim. Excellent answer. I would agree but would add that there may be many circumstance related matters that also play a part in this decision. It's also important to consult a wise Christian you know and pray a lot. Thanks again, Tim!

Good suggestions Tim! Also...figure out how far you want to travel....we're very rural so that's an issue 4 us. Read the doctrinal statements of churches you want to visit. If vague, call the pastor. Doctrine is important. Listen to sermons online. Do u have children? That's a factor. How is the church governed? Plurality of elders or congregational? Visit in person. It takes time. Pray. If you're married, talk to your spouse. How's the food at the pot luck suppers?🤣

I was attending Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale and I used to love the vibe but the head pastor’s sermons do not move me and after COVID the church suffered a lot. They were closed for too long, lost members, and offer a lot less services. I used to attend a midweek service and a weekly men’s group. They got rid of all that and now they just have a Saturday night and Sunday service. I haven’t been able to find another one that fills my hungry for God’s word with a Unified community. Any suggestions?

I attend the church I do because IMHO the doctrine is sound. It also supports many charitable missions.... many more than most churches. It's what I'd call a "mini-mega church."

There's only one true Church established by Christ for man's salvation...

First of all, studying the New Testament and learn how people became Christians when the church that Jesus promised to establish came into being on the day of Pentecost. You will find that in the beginning of the book of Acts. People became Christians when they were baptized (Acts 2:38). A few verses later, we read that Jesus added those who were saved to His church. He wants you to be in His church. You can read about how the church is governed and how it worships in the rest of the New Testament.
Many people are using the New Testament as a guide to restore it just the way Jesus wants it to be, Find a 'church of Christ' in your area, and compare it to the description in the New Testament to be sure you are in the right place.

Join the Church that Christ actually founded and has apostolic succession, the Catholic Church.
