this is why the Sub is always preferred, she was supposed to have an accent (meaning she doesn't speak their native language) and so would be saying a phrase she didn't quite understand. This was conveyed horribly here in the Dub, they could've given here a European accent or something which would make sense for the phrase mistranslation occurring correctly in the Sub.
