Narnia Soundtrack - Mr. Tumnus Theme (Flute)

I OWN NOTHING! Music is by Harry Gregson-Williams and is from The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe Recording Sessions. This is a compilation of the primary theme used for Mr. Tumnus that is most well-known for the scene in which he plays his flute to lull Lucy into sleep. He also has a secondary theme used for friendship that is not included in this video. Enjoy!

I love the flute song that Tumnus played. It starts mysterious and even charming, then as Lucy begins to drift, the theme gets a dangerous sound to it, until the end where the danger turns on Tumnus when Aslan roars at him.

As a kid, I never realized why this scene was so unsettling to me. Now, 10 years later, it sinks in that Lucy almost got kidnapped, and that in real life a lot of children don't get saved. A very dark scenario and awfully well portrayed. It still gives me chills to this day.

I always imagine the creators how they had so much fun doing this ☺️ and imagining as if they where there in that magical world themselves. Music is truly spectacular how it can influence our minds and feelings. Ever hear classical music and just imagine a story or scene to go with the music. It’s fun y’all should try it. I just randomly got reminded of my younger times when I used to watch this movie on repeat on our small tv. Just re-watched the whole movie and came here to listen to this beautiful tune. It's so strange how a piece of music or movie can take u back to ur old times. Our own memories can provide us with so much hope and happiness. This just triggered my old memories and made me reminded how I was so carefree and infinite as a child. Oh boy how did i grow so much so fast. Nostalgia is a bittersweet feeling. It leaves u with a strange kind of ache.
