have to say, bit less then decade ago when I used to care for SC a lot, that old Freelancer commercial got me good and I had to buy one, have it on my wallpaper and my door. unfortunately to this day didn't figured out how to angle those guns like that brave guy did.

The gun, if I'm not mistaken, is a bespoke twin-barreled size three energy cannon. So a single gun that fires two shots (like a turret). The two barrels very close together.

I am not into large scale military ground operations but it's nice to see a widening range of military ground vehicles in the game universe. I will be looking forward to a range of ground construction and ground mining vehicles when they become a thing.

What a funny looking vehicle. Definitely agree it looks like the Tumbler from Batman.

I think the tradeoff between the Storm and Nova will be vehicle capability. Nova can independently engage infantry, air, and ground assets in a 360deg arc at once, vs the Storm which will have a fixed firing arc (probably), but vastly better maneuverability.
