How to setup a Holy Bro M8N GPS compass unit with a Naze32 flight controller running Cleanflight.

This video describes how to hook up a Holybro M8N GPS unit with a Naze32 flight controller for GPS related flying such as Return to Home, GPS hold, Speed indication, GPS Coordinate Telemetry and more. The video outlines the wiring, Software setup, and hardware setup to get the GPS connected and working. Hey have this all configured as you stated and everything is working great BUT how do I set it up in my Taranis Plus ??

If I do not do anything else, will it give me a stable fixed hold when I hover as my DJI and if not is there away I can accomplish this ?

Hi, I am using IBUS on my naze32 flight controller, and the IBUS is occupying the rx port (port 4) on the input rail. Is it still possible to connect a GPS using different ports?

I got only one question, what should I do if I want to connect my GPS and the Naze32 in PWM?
Because the +5V and GND connections, which come from the Naze, they go to my receiver X8R...
I mean, how can I power my GPS if I´m using the GND and 5v of my Naze for the receiver?

Thank you for putting this together! I have a question about using this with a tricopter setup in cleanflight. I'm using pins 3 and 4 for ma ch4 and ch5 on my receiver. Is there an alternate configuration I could use to get this working. I noticed there are tx and rx pads on top of the naze32 - could these be used (connecting the gps tx to the rx pad and visa versa)? Thanks again for your time!

How do you connect SBUS from a X8R (the signal wire) when you use pin 4 for the GPS RX ? Do you use them both on pin 4 or how do you solve this?

All set up in cleanflight everything works visually but selecting rth or hold does nothing in flight. What should we look for? Yes modes set to switches.

I hooked the Holybro M8N GPS unit up to an HKPilot APM 2.7 FC to the appropriate connector (after swapping out the supplied extra cable).
I am wondering what the pinouts might be for the cable. Looking top down reading the cable connector on the APM 2.7, it is:
RED, YELLOW, GREEN, EMPTY, BLACK

I get the Green light on the GPS unit - SOLID, the BLUE light on the APM 2.7 FLASHING ...but NO BLUE light on the GPS Unit.

I am indoors (Aircraft Hangar), but took it outdoors for about 5 minutes and achieved the same results.

I just want to confirm the pinouts.... I will mess with the rest.

I am so confused. Other videos say no naze32 others say yes. Some say no cleanflight period but inav instead, in order to get the RTH, waypoints, etc to work right.
