30 years ago I listened to the song. An uplifting song. Love the track. Great memories from the 90s. Now I am 45 and feels great to reliving the nostalgia of the decade listening to the song.

Gawd this song brings some memories back... My little brother had passed away aged 9 at the end of 1992 (I was 14), and I spent the next 18 months utterly miserable and unable to move on from that catastrophe... Somehow, by summer 1994, when I had just turned 16, this song helped lift me out of the doldrums... That summer I went to the fairground in Porthcawl, South Wales, which my family did every year, and went into the Quasar they had there in those days and met a lovely boy and got talking to him as we waited to start our game... He was in a similar situation as he had lost his younger sister the previous year... We were on opposite teams in the game, but when game over came, I offered him a hug, and we shared a kiss... I never saw that boy again, but this song was playing as we parted, and I swear that, just for a second, I saw briefly saw my brother standing in a nearby doorway smiling at me - I went out and bought the single and played it and now, at 44, 30 years after the loss of my brother, it reminds me of how a moment of kindness from a total stranger was enough to lift me out of a huge slump in my life... Such a lovely tune!

One of the best pop songs of the 1990s - damn near perfect. Melody, arangement, production, lyric - everything's spot on. No fat anywhere. Much better than anything Take That were putting out at the time...
