TURTLES!!! My meme (grandma) used to play WoW back in Cata through WoD. She was a crafter and auctioneer, and she would craft high-end items like mounts and send me gold for my birthday and other holidays even though we always see eachother on any special occassion. Her favourite animals are turtles, and her hunter had all turtles (some of which were on this list!). Thanks Crendor, I'll be showing this to her lol.

One of my favorite things about Tortolla is that, when the Burning Legion intially invaded, they...basically ignored him. To them he was just a giant, sluggish and not really threatening turtle. But he was able to crush hundreds of them with his sheer weight, his stomps and his giant jaws and no matter how hard they tried they could never crack his shell or hide!
Best part is at the end of it all, after the war was over, he was found under a giant mountain of demon corpses, where he just poked his head out to ask if they had won.
What a lad!

Ghamoo ra would definitely be on my list. I remember using beast lore on it in vanilla and realizing it had an absurd amount of armor, like almost a million armor. And then I tamed it and was super disappointed that it was just as strong as any other turtle, which is to say it was a pretty pathetic pet. Also as a mage it was the only boss before level 40 where I could beat hunters and rogues on dps because of that insane armor.

I cannot believe you did not include Optimistic/Cranky Benj!

In Hillsbrad Foothills, there's a rare spawn called Cranky Benj that spawns on a rock on a waterfall near the turtles you mentioned in the video. What's not known is that you can enter the Durnholde dungeon in the Caverns of Time and find him in the exact same spot, not called Optimistic Benj. You're left to assume that he was turned Cranky by age, or maybe something happened to him?

Turtles are actually extremely fast, it's Tortoises that are the slow ones. People are always shocked when they see how fast Turtles can move, especially in water those suckers are FAST.
