Timelapse build of a 2006 Yamaha YBR125 transformed into a bratstyle motorcycle!

The YBR 125 is a very popular and cheap bike, also known as the Factor 125 in some countries. This YBR was in a terrible shape!

I have been watching build videos for 2 years now, but I want you to know that this one finally made me buy my own motorcycle and start a project, I have no idea how I'm going to complete it, but it will be fun. Your video is very informative and I will surely use it as a guideline for my build. I bought a '07 YBR 125 and will build an urban scrambler, also black with gold details. So, thanks again for posting this video, exactly what I needed. Cheers and all the best from Croatia. ^^

Insurance: "Any modifications been made to the bike?"

You: "ummmm... no..."

Never been a big fan of the style, but you have to love seeing an old bike get a second life. Especially when it’s this well done. Nice job.

Awh man my first bike was a little YBR 125, I crashed it so many times <3 It warmed my heart seeing one being treated properly

Usually I hate this type of modification, but I thank you from all of my heart that you take bikes that are in a bad shape and you transform them. We know it's harder work, but some of us appreciate that you don't pick up good condition bikes for your project and ruin their originality.

Nice build, even like the music, I live in the USA and most people here don't know how much fun a small bike can be. 🏍✌️

i just started to work in a motorcycle garage and i cant wait till i am comfortable enough to try this out. Your work with that yamaha is purely amazing and i love how the bike looks now, i am just flashed how beautiful you can make those with your own hands and 100%selfmade.

In any case, I am working hard on trying to bring new build videos to you guys, the COVID has stalled many of my project unfortunately, but things are getting better so stay tuned ;)

Recognised the Mitas H-06 tyres on the wheels. I use one on the rear of my 305cc 2 stroke café racer.

The tyre tread pattern (as the Barum H-06) dates back to the 1960's and was the OEM fitment for the quite fast Jawa 50-23 Mustang sports 50cc (48 MPH top speed before tuning), Velorex sidecar wheels and Velorex 3 wheeled cars. They give excellent grip in both dry and wet weather without vices.

They tend to be the common choice for 1970's classic 2 stroke owners too and they closely resemble both the 1970's Avon Roadrunner and 1970's Pirelli Mandrake tyres in shape and appearance.

Très beau travail, c'est du vrai custom de qualité et pas du simple assemblage de pièce. Respect. J'adore

In Brazil we have this model the Yamaha Ybr 125cc, and I always thought it would be a perfect model for this type of customization. But our traffic laws and regulations do not allow our owners to have the right to change a screw, so we ride around with dull motorcycles and no personality.

Congratulations on your project, it was awesome.

the song at the end is what Techmoan uses for the end of his videos. I can't not associate that music with him. You should check him out if you like anything techy.

Awesome build as always.

The most beautiful thing is you are working on your own without anyone else's help.

What a great build! There is so much beauty to be captured in simplicity. I applaud you.

It's a beautiful finish. The area around the handle feels particularly good. I was impressed!
