Putting on and taking off socks and stockings after hip replacement

Показать описание
Socks and stockings. Slide the sock onto the sock aide making sure the heel of the sock is on the back of the aide and the toe is against the front. Hold on to the handles and drop the sock aide in front of your leg. Slip your foot into the sock and pull the handles to pull it on your foot. To take your socks off, use a reacher or a shoehorn to hook the back of the sock at the heel and push it off. Initially, you may want to use assistance for putting on socks. Also, you will find that using the sock aide will become easier with practice.
