The Hyundai N Vision 74 Has Me Worried

The Hyundai N Vision 74 is arguably the greatest concept car of all time when it comes to internet reaction. Will nearly 100% positive feedback, it looks like the N Vision 74 will get the greenlight and head into production. My question is...how? With a great call back to the Hyundai Pony Coupe concept and overall incredible 1980's vibe - this car is undeniably a step in the right direction. So let's talk about it.

This car needs to be as common as the 350z. offer upscaled versions, sure. but make an entry level, 40k sports car. something cool that everyone can own.

I would like to see a manufacturer make a car that is basically a step back. Like with less tech and stuff. Something old school, that is basic. No infotainment systems, or digital screens. Just analog gauges, a simple stereo with Bluetooth at least, make it small, but sporty. It would be nice. I also wonder how much it would cost if it didn’t have all the crap that modern cars come with.

If they dropped the Ioniq 5N's powertrain into the N74 (as the N trim) and it had ~300mi range that thing would win car of the year in a second. Such a awesome looking car.

I think the i8 looks better in person than in photos and its paint color can make or break the car.

As for Hyundai, I reeeaaally hope that the N74 gets made, becomes a sales success and other manufacturers take notice. It would be cool to see the underdog properly teaching the old guard a lesson.

whatever they do, just dont change the visuals of the car. im fine if its full electric but the cars visuals are what make it truly iconic.

Really impressed with Hyundai. I have a 2013 Genesis coupe 3.8 bk2, that I put 143k on, with minimal issues, and also a 23 Elantra N. I think Hyundai has been listening and trying to make affordable enthusiasts cars.

I think they will end up just making a IONIQ 5N with the body of the N Vision 74 on it, but I hope they keep the dual electric motors on the back axle from the concept with wheel-based torque vectoring. It would basically be a RWD-only IONIQ 5N with the full 600+hp sent to the rear wheels and the simulated shifting tech. Sign me up!
