I tell you I will sob for weeks when we lose Sir Rod. I have been in love with him since Maggie May. I was 6 years old and I wanted my mom to play it over and over. She refused. But after that any song by him on the radio I had to memorize. I wanted to take the lyrics and music into my cells.

Saw him in concert the first time in ‘84. And I was in awe! I couldn’t believe I was actually in the same place as him. Saw him again in ‘88 and it was just as great. He was so electric and full of energy.

Yep he’s my longest celeb crush.
