Fun Fact, it's because of this game, that we got the first Spider-Verse movie. After the game released, Marvel comic writers used the game as inspiration for there first modern day Spider-Verse comic story line, then they adapted the comic books to become Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse

You didn’t talk about the voice acting. It’s one of my favorite parts of the game because each Spider-Man is voiced by an actor who played Spider-Man in their own show. 2099 is voiced by Dan Gilvezan from Spider-Man and his amazing friends, Noir is voiced by Christopher Daniel Barnes from the 90s animated series, Amazing is voiced by Neil Patrick Harris from Spider-Man the new animated series on MTV, and Ultimate is voiced by Josh Keaton from The Spectacular Spider-Man.

Shattered Dimensions got me back into Spider-Man games when it first came out. Activision was really milking the Spider-Man license to the point where we were almost getting yearly releases for the webhead. Loved everything Shattered Dimensions was doing. Multiverse storyline before it was common place like today, all the voice actors were returning from previous Spider-Man series and even the linear design before every game had to be an open world game.

Back when we got good Spider Man games every year. Ultimate Spider Man fight with Deadpool abd Amazing Spider Man’s fight with Kraven were my fav and most memorable.

This is the first game I ever played, and what got me into the Spider-Verse.

Playing as Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man Noir was awesome, I enjoyed they're hard hitting gameplay, while Spider-Man 2099 and Amazing felt light and swift.

I enjoy SD for variety in gameplay and I enjoy Edge of Time for the story

I got shattered dimensions for Christmas the year it came out. I played it over and over so much to a point where I literally wore out the disk. I absolutely adore this game and I love that it’s been getting a bit more attention with the mainstream approach to the Spider-Verse concept

Aside of the ps4/ps5 games this was and still is my favorite spiderman game i still have my copy of it and finished a recent play through of it still amazing

I agree, I would love an open world 2099 game. Insomniac doing it would make perfect sense as they currently make great Spider-Man games, but they also make Ratchet & Clank, which has great futuristic and sci-fi settings. They could absolutely cook if given the chance.

It's that good. I remember getting this when it came out (i begged my dad lol) and it was so much fun. This was my first Spider-Man game that wasn't open world since Spider-Man 2002 i believe, and at first i thought that would ruin the game for me but i was completely wrong. The levels, the different Spider-Mans with their own unique combat style, the environments made this such a memorable experience for me. Try and play this game if you haven't i highly reccomend it. Shattered Dimensions doesn't crack my top 3 Spider-Man games but its definitely in my top 5. Great fun

Played it on the Wii, the “boxing” sections with the Wiimote and nunchuk was awesome

13:10 ok so hear me out, imagine being on a building near some flying cars, and jumping off, and using the momentum of those flying cars to fling yourself with your webs, and gliding around the city at stupidly high speeds.

I got this game when i was 11 at a Movie Exchange for 20 bucks. That was at 2015 and I still love it. I still play it on my ps3.

Afew years ago. I bought these games to replay on Xbox 360. I bought Web of Shadows, Shattered Dimensions, Edge of Time and many other spiderman games. I put them in my collection and haven't touch them yet. I see these games are expensive now

I actually played the DS version of Shattered Dimensions recently after finishing Web of Shadows (DS), and it was a pretty solid Metroidvania game. I definitely mega recommend both DS games to not just Spider-Man fans, but also Metroidvania fans.
