I feel that the weather broadcast at the end of the game was a metaphor for Max's mental state at the end of the game.

He's still a broken man, yes. But he's moving forward with a smile now; evident by the bright sunset at the ending.

I remember when I bought this game. It was with the first job that I had. It was the collector version that came with the figure and extras. I was 20 years old at the time. they were happy times. Looking back in the past with this background soundtrack conveys a feeling of nostalgia, melancholy and joy for the time lived. Now I am 30 years old and connecting with myself and since then everything has remained the same, the illusion, the surprise for life, but on the other hand I have grown and matured. like Max at the end of this game.

I loved the ending to this game. After all the grief Max goes through, it was so satisfying to see him get a moment of peace. The closing weather report line ("It's dark in some places, but it's sunny everywhere else.") also felt uplifting. It gave me hope that Max could overcome his other addictions and maybe learn to forgive himself for his failures.

I just heard the news of James McCaffrey passing. RIP to arguably the greatest video game voice actor of all time. He created an iconic character that people will remember for generations. It feels as though I knew Max Payne personally.
