As someone who just did a phone screening for a Store Manager position with Starbucks two days ago, I can 100% verify they asked every single one of these questions.

This video, along with the other Starbucks videos, were a huge help! Got me through the phone interview with the recruiter for an ASM position and after the second interview with 2 DMs, I'm starting as an external hire ASM in a couple of weeks. 😊

Can you make an updated version of this with the new questions? I am an ASM trying to get to SM and the interview questions have changed since then.

I'm currently in the interview process to be a Starbucks store manager. I was turned down in one area but I'm interviewing for a store in a different area not too far away. What's killing me with the interviews is where they want a specific example. They are using the "star" interview format. For example they're asking me something like "tell me about a time you had to improve a process or a similar question". They want a specific scenario with a specific previous employee of mine. I've been in restaurant management for over 20 years I can't think of specific scenarios. I've led thousands of people over the years.
