When I was younger I used to shred my Mongoose Dolomite in flip-flops, until I took a northeastern (US) cobble to the big toe. Fortunately I was going slow XD. Now I just use my old set of Dunham Midland's, which are nylon reinforced in the soles. Perfect if you ride flats and have big feet!
