Astribot S1 is AI-powered Humanoid robot assistant currently developing by a Senzhen based subsidiary of Stardust Intelligence.

The robot is speedy and incredibly precise doing everything from opening and pouring wine to gently shaving a cucumber to flipping a sandwich in a frying pan to writing a bit of calligraphy.

People forget, that these things do cost a lot like an expensive car. It's still cheaper to have regular employees. Also someone needs to clean these robots, do repairs when things start to fall apart and so on. All these videos demonstrate the robot under the best cirumstances in clean areas. Now imagine the robot do cooking something with oil and a lot steam. It would make sense to use that robot at home if it could clean itself.

They dont show how long it takes for the robot to respond to the "job" given to it. If this was supposed to be general purpose, you have to know how long it needs to recognize an object and how long it takes to execute the pre-arranged movements
