The thing that amazes me is that its built around 650 million along with all of the stuff, and there are superyachts cost a 1/6th or a 1/4 for there yachts! I think it is very awesome how humans can do this in 3-4 years!

The title of this video made me believe this was a DIY project.

One of the best documentaries I've seen. So well done, and informationally rich.

Wow, the ship produces its own electricity. So now they can get rid of the extension cord.

I had been involved as an opening team for Majestic Princess in Fincantieri, Trieste, Italy. I was lucky to witness a born of a cruise ship and I understand how hard the work was to built one.

At first I thought this was a documentary about building a cruise ship…then I realized it was actually a test to see how many fucking ads they can squeeze into 10 minute intervals. Quit watching 20 minutes in and went back to Netflix.

I was confused about the power output until he clarified it by comparing it to 7000 washing machines. 7000 washing machines is so much more relatable. I don't know anyone who hasn't seen 7000 washing machines.

Wow. This hydrodynamic engineering and Computational Fluid Dynamics is going to revolutionize the way that ships have sailed for the last 300 years. Modern ships always had pointed bows and propellers. As long as you can fit through the Suez Canal I guess you're good to go, now. There has also been great strides forward in the development of hydrofoil techniques, too, for smaller craft. My Dad was a foreman at a Republic Steel plant in Ohio in the 1950's and he said they made the best steel in the world. He would be very proud at how steel is being produced and used now.
