With ex-#45, some Republican members of Congress were involved in the January 6, 2021 coup attempt and insurrection, Republican members of Congress went to Russia for July 4th, CPAC was (held in Hungary) CORRECTION: was held in Florida to celebrate DeSantis' authoritarian rule of Florida and Orban was the key speaker etc. Mccarthy knew about Santos criminal history yet gave him the oath to the Constitution and has assigned him to two committees to obstruct committees. That America has Republican members of Congress who are traitors to the United States seditious conspirators in any committee to obstruct Congress is very disturbing and disheartening. The inaction of the DOJ has emboldened these Republican members of Congress seditious conspirators to block any accountability for their criminal activities. Republican members of Congress don't hold their own accountable.

The fact that Santos (or whoever) is able to stay in office for as long as he has shown that the US government is seriously lacking in its ability to effectively address its problems. The constitution may have been a great document by the founding fathers but is obvious not an all encompassing document for all problems that exist within the US government. New problems require new laws ..
