I definitely relate to the spork texture issue. I can't imagine now having a polished bowl. 😬

My velcro came off my food warming bag too. I just stapled the velcro to the bag it worked well. Good luck on your hike. Happy trails.

I was having some of the same packing problems . I watched Taps on trail, it was called “How I pack my 40L pack for winter hiking” She had some good ideas. Awesome video ! Good luck and good health! Hope to see y’all out there. AT 2023

Love Big Agnes Tents. I’ve got the regular Tiger Wall UL 2 myself. Love that you can set up the rainfly before setting up the tent if it’s raining.

The trekking poles look like cascade mountain tech. Great budget brand. Good call.

When you get to Marion, Virginia come visit us at the Outfitter Marion Outdoors and Merry Inn Hiker Hostel. Marion is a cool town!

Try and keep your BrS on your gas canister. With any stove the the threads wear out and you save more fuel that way.

Happy Trails,

-Coach
