That is my biggest problem with a lot of these lock screen apps. My job forces me to have a stock phone and requires password or pin

No, based on the settings it says it works via WiFi, not GPS.

Its cool but I'd rather not use it because it definitely sucks battery. Its checking for your location 24/7 which means GPS is always on and that will kill any battery over time. Doesn't matter how big a battery you have .
