Pete, you should open one of those tape spools up for Honey to play with, will keep her out of mischief for a couple of hours, and give your new cleaner something to do after :-)

Back in 1993 they were $70. Back then Ampex was the best ball studios used them

For those selling RTR tapes, be aware some can suffer from what is often called "sticky-shed syndrome" (SSS) which is hydrolysis of the binder. Mostly affecting higher-grade backcoated tapes. Including (but not limited to) Ampex 456/457, Scotch 206/207, Sony SLH and ULH... What happens is the tape will bind up and squeal on the tape heads and guides. Another issue you could come across is "vinegar syndrome" and "cupping" of acetate based tapes. Acetate tapes that are starting to break down can become fragile and prone to easy snapping, especially when fast winding or starting/stopping a tape. These are normally older tapes from the early 70s and back. Scotch 111, 120, 201 being some that use an acetate base. Kodak Triacetate tape can be the least stable when it comes to "vinegar syndrome". These are well known issues when it comes to users of reel to reel tape, just something to be aware of when selling NOS or used RTR tapes.
