Unknown ticking noise coming from the intake area. Possibly the CCV? High oil consumption and blue smoke from the exhaust during idle. When driving not noticeable.

Hi, sorry for the lack of responses, but I asked a BMW mechanic working at the BMW dealer and he said it was normal. I know of two other cars with the exact same engine and they do not have this sound. I haven't fixed it yet, no, but when I do find the answer I'll let you all know.

Its common with n52 and some n46. I have this same ticking at idle. the reason is because the oil doesnt have enought pressure and your lifter is ticking. there hasnt been broken engines beacuse of this.

Hallo Leute, das Geräusch kann auch von den Hydro Stösseln kommen. LIQUI MOLY Hydro Additiv zum Öl hinzugeben, Motor müsste leiser werden.
Auch wichtig ist, Öl nicht bis zum Maximum (4, 25 Ltr.) auffüllen. Vollsynthetik Öl verwenden und alle 15.000 km wechseln und dann Freude am Fahren.

El motor de ese coche no está trabajando en su ciclo completo tiene un desajuste de las válvulas de admisión por eso se escucha así de mal... mi consejo es regular los ataques mirarle las pastillas calibradoras
