This wasn't a best trick competition, it was best run. Though he may not have had some sick flip to handrail, or massive transfer, he had the most tricks, all clean, on the ENTIRE course. Versus other skaters who had a couple heavy tricks on the rails, but nothing more than cruising between one side of the park to the other. This was the best run that combined transition and rail/ledge skating equally.

I think the lip up the ledge followed by the bennett grind and the fakie tre on the quarter to finish it off made him win. He used the entire park in ways the other contestants didn't, he did a lot of tricks, his trick selection was great and everything was done perfectly. Don't pretend this run wasn't amazing, you people in comment must've picked up skateboarding yesterday if you can't see how this won.

Man that run was so sick. Louie just has so much flow. I'd hate to be the judge at these contests, but that backsmith front 180, kickflip nosegrind up, were gnar. Congrats Louie!

Louie nailed it. He isn't scared of a ruining a run on transition. You can see other skaters just doing axle stall, but not Louie, he's on a roll, turning back with noseblunts. He doesn't loose speed, he's a cat.

for those who didnt watch the whole comp, Louie was doing different tricks all day.. halfcab blunt halfcab out the corner.. backsmith to backsmith and random shit. most the other guys were kinda on loop, mostly the same shit all day. louie was all over the place

great run good natural flow he really hit everything he came across, you can tell he didnt have some signature trick/s that he had to do in his run it was so natural. Then the fakie tre nice. Instead of those robots who make constant laps doing only specific tricks on specific features forcing them into the run.
